Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and IndieForge ("IndieForge", "we", "us"), the operator of indieforge.link and the provider of the IndieForge service. By creating an account, accessing, or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using IndieForge on behalf of a company, label, or other organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country.
2. The service
IndieForge is a smart-links platform for musicians and small labels. It lets you publish a single release page that links out to streaming platforms, offer pre-save campaigns, collect fan emails, and view analytics. Paid plans add custom subdomains, custom domains, removal of IndieForge branding, video canvas backgrounds, and advanced analytics. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan you have selected.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@indieforge.link if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload — artwork, audio previews, links, and copy. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely so we can operate the service and show your release pages to your audience. You confirm you hold the rights to everything you upload, including the music, artwork, and any third-party material it contains.
5. Acceptable use and misuse
You must not use IndieForge to:
- break the law, or promote or facilitate unlawful activity;
- commit fraud, send spam, or run deceptive or misleading campaigns;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights — including uploading music or artwork you do not have the rights to;
- harass, threaten, or abuse anyone;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the service — no malware, no probing or penetration testing without written permission, no scraping, no circumventing rate limits, plan limits, or other technical restrictions;
- reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service.
6. Our intellectual property
IndieForge retains all ownership of the service and everything in it that is ours: the software, templates, documentation, design, name, and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.
7. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, currency, tax, renewal, cancellation, and refund mechanics for purchases are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. In short: the free plan is free; Pro subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled; a one-time campaign purchase covers a single release for 12 months. Prices are shown at checkout and taxes are calculated by Paddle based on your location.
See our Refund Policy for our 14-day money-back guarantee and how to request a refund.
8. Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your dashboard or through Paddle. Your paid features stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account reverts to the free plan. Free accounts can be deleted on request.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service, in whole or in part, if:
- you materially breach these terms;
- a payment for your plan fails or remains outstanding;
- we reasonably believe there is a security or fraud risk; or
- you repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules.
Where it is reasonable to do so, we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If your account ends, you can ask us to export your data within 30 days; after that it may be deleted.
10. Service level and warranties
IndieForge is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it fast and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Your indemnity
You agree to cover us for claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from the content you publish through IndieForge, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material we will give notice by email or in the app. Continuing to use IndieForge after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
14. Contact
